when i swapped engines on my mt i put the old oil pump back on as i new it had been working, trouble is after a few hours of riding the engine felt like it was about to seize so i checked the pump, oil goes into it but nothing comes out! the feed pipe that goes to the engine was dry! can you fix oil pumps or is it best to buy a new one?
cheers
Tom :p

shut the oilpump down and put oil in your fueltank.

You could by a new one, or like Willy said: "put oil in your fuel". I would recommand the last one

I would also mix the fuel myself. It's more reliable I think. And you also don't have problems with the splitter in your fuel cable

Yeah! disconnect oil-pump (watch out: make sure your MT don't gets false air trough the old oil-injection hose, so you should close that one) And mix your own fuel with your own oil....
mix oil:fuel 1:50 for a standard bike, 1:40 if you make a lot of RPM

[Not nessecery]
Remove the oil-pump rotor(?) in the engine... (prevents a little bit more power-loss)

I have a spare oil pump on my old engine, i could make one good one out of two as a new one is around ?100. Or i could just mix the oil and petrol
