I am really hapyy, after 2 months of my honda sitting in the back of my shed, in pieces. i decided to fix it instead of revising for my tests. I put it back together, took the oil pump of, filled the tank with 25:1 and i ride happily again!
With the pump removed, it goes ALOT faster.
Have any of you removed your oil pumps, if so what oil mix do u use in your tank?

oil pumps suck ass! most mopeds in holland dont even have an oilpump anymore, for a 50cc you would use 1:50

Cheers for the reply, as i almost ceased my cilinder (thats why i parked it up for ages) i am gonna use this tank full of 25:1 to make sure it is properly lubricated. Then use 50:1

What did you remove?
Only the pump, or also de gear inside your engine witch let the oilpump pump?

You should get 1:50 or 1:40.

I don't think many people on this forum use there oil-pump anymore...

You should mix 1:50 for a standaard cylinder, or 1:40 if youre bike makes ALOT of revolutions per minute

(so we all mix 1:40, because we ALL make ALOT of rev's... )
