Hello,
I am setting up an MB5 for 50cc racing here in New Hampshire USA
I have new motor parts but I can't seem to get any power..., not
even 50cc "power"
Has anyone had problems with the CDI unit or coil or any other
electrical problems that would cause poor performance. It starts and idles well.
Thanks,
Rick
Yeah the parts are poor, but thats more like they brake down easely, and have no influence on the performance of your bike. A normal Honda MB CDI unit gets up to 12000 RPM and no more, when your bike is capable of making more revolutions, you should change CDI unit
Hi,
I had this poor performance problem when the bike was stock. Now I have a Poloni Piston, ported cylinder, Mukuni 20mm carb, and Jolly Moto exhaust pipe.
Wondering what the symptons of a bad CDI are?
Are you sure that all your parts are OK? Maybe your Mikuni20mm (I've got a carburator just like that to, good stuff!!) is a bit dirty from the inside...
Or he might get not enough air ore something like that?
