I am really desperate to get my MT50 on the road, it has had alot of money spent on it to get it up to roadworthiness. To get on the road i need my MOT, license, tax etc. But the only problem is my Dad, he wont let me get a bike on the road, he was even against me getting a field bike, i am not sure about my mum, she sometimes likes a ride on the back of my bike so she cant be against bikes too much.
Please i am desperate for tips to change my Dads mind.

Take him for a ride, if he's a real man, then there are 2 options:
- He forbid's you to ride it, and claims it's his own bike
- He'll let you ride it...

I had the same problem... It's fucked up, i know!!

Yeah! Let your father drive! My father also worries about me driving a tuned up bike, that lookes so weird ass, it can't be possible a safe bike...
But when he drove on a simular MT of Lude (aka. Neonlampje) he really found himself having fun, just like he did when he was my age with his Yamaha FS1....
His only comment on our bike's was that we must put on a helmet, because our MT's where waaaay to fast
Altough, my mother still thinks my bike's speed limit is 45km/h to prevent more parental shit, and my father still complains about mess and oil-stains in our shed...

Thanks for the advice lads, i will take both my parents for a ride, tell them my bike has been restricted and go on a safety course run by the police, i know, iknow, pigs! but it should work i hope.
