Did you work on that Daytona cylinder yourself? It is very nice? Are there tuning shops in Holland that will ship to the USA?

I get that cilinder with my nsr50 , but that cylinder was broken.
I didn't have it any more.

Maybe also an option is to fit a nsr80, mtx80 engine and then fit a NS1 cylinder.
And bore and port that NS1 cylinder, i think you get a really nice result.

this is my mbx80 cylinder (also tuned, not by me)

With that mbx80 cylinder.
HPI 03 ignition
a 70cc exhaust
26 mm Keihin (from an old cr80)

It has at the moment 14 pk (horsepower), but it can get many more.
a couple movies:

http://www.youtube.c...e#p/u/44/IOtnLOtYq5s

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYJCQ9QQwG0

I will get other things on it.

A NS1 cylinder ( that also will be tuned)
30mm dellorto
cr80 gearbox (from an 1981 cr80)
hpi 03 or cr80 ignition
and a homemade exhaust

i think that the result would be better than.

My nsr will only be used for the sprint (drage race) on a track for 150m, so my engine isn't made for durability

Further more it is a great site what you have there!
it has fine information on it what we don't have in the netherlands!

Thats a very nice gearbox!

but i had an mbx80 gearbox (6 gears) in it, but i have now an cr80 (also 6 gears) gearbox thats a little bit better for my purpose

How much horsepower a malossi have i can't tell you, butt i have read from a guy whit a malossi and he had 15 horsepower.
That cylinder also was tuned an other special things on it.

But i think you will get more whit a 80cc engine.

The gt4 cylinder on the pictures are very rear here in holland!

yes those cylinders are more common here, they are also known here as ''Belgium Cylinders'', because in holland the NSR's came with the slow GJOL cylinders, and in Belgium the NSR's came with the faster GE2 cylinders

yes from Belgium.
Here in the Netherlands we have a slow GJOL cylinder on a nsr50, but in Belgium they also have the GE2, so we can get it from there

a standard gt4 cylinder will cost a round the 450 dollar without an piston, here in holland. :-(

Edit: i'am to slow.
