very nice project!!
i have a 32mm mikuni on my MT8. it fits only just 
i made a manifold myself. a pice of hose connects the carb and the manifold
foto
as you can see it bary misses the tank and the main frame tube.
btw, this carb came of an suzuki RM125

Well, i heard of people fitting some kind of 38mm on MT8 with 125cc cilinder. But honestly, a Kawasaki AR125 drives 160km/u with 26mm. However that's likely to be a more HP/PK (high rpm) setup then a torque setup, so i guess your carburator size might still have a positive influence on your MT, particular at offroad usage..
Your wire mounting techniques look quite inspiring, that's for sure.

that's called the chain. pfeww that you ment the cil.
but i think there's alot of power missing, needs a lot of adjustment of the carb.
edit: looks nice but i would remove the stupid front fork stickers. and paint them black or silver/grey.
