Driving with original airfilter in stead of power filter will give you less power and a very hard time to get a good fuel/air ratio. You'd better get a Twin Air or a cheap foam filter (Don't use the steel ones, they don't filter sand and water)
Driving with no filter is not very good in two ways. The air that goes in the carburettor tends to swirl too much (So I've been told) and you get all kinds of dirt in ur carb
