Suzuki completely redesigned their 125 MX bike in ?90. It proved that big design changes don't result in big performance gains.

Power: The ?90 RM 125 engine produced rather mild engine power through the entire engine powerband. The competition had the RM smoked in the horsepower department. Despite the RM?s engine power being fairly easy to use, it had difficulty keeping up with the other bikes.

Suspension: The Suzuki rough stuff absorption performance was well above average. The forks were not quite as smooth responding this year, but their performance was still very admirable. The rear worked very well but it was a bit too softly sprung on hard landings. These were really small gripes though, and, once again, the overall Suzuki RM 125 suspension performance was very good.

Handling: The RM was easy to ride due to the smooth and well controlled power delivery. It wasn't known to be a turning fool, but its overall cornering abilities were very good. It was a fairly stable machine at high speed.

Reliability: The RM was very reliable.

Odds & Ends: The ?90 RM 125 makes a good trail/play bike and it can be used for some low key MX racing. The mellower engine power makes it a good machine that will not freak out beginners or novices

redelijke motor dus. maar niet echt iets om wedstrijden mee te rijden.
